A Play Experience Your Whole Family Will Talk About All Week

A structured, multi-week enrichment series where children ages 2–8 and their families explore a new career theme together each session — through costumes, storybooks, hands-on activities, and the kind of imaginative play that brings families closer and sticks with kids long after they go home.

About Us:

At Blooprint Imaginative Play™, we know that children learn best when they feel safe, engaged, and excited, and that the most powerful learning happens when families do it together. That's why we created the Play & Learn Series: a structured, multi-week program where parents and children explore the world of work side by side, one career at a time. Each session introduces a new community helper, from doctors and chefs to engineers and artists, through dramatic play, a themed storybook read-aloud, and developmentally appropriate hands-on activities that the whole family participates in together. Sessions are held at libraries, churches, and community spaces across Metro Atlanta, making it easy for families to find a location close to home.

Every activity is aligned with Early Learning Developmental Standards, so children aren't just having fun, they're building the literacy, social-emotional, and problem-solving skills that will follow them into kindergarten and beyond. And because families register and commit to the full series, children benefit from the continuity and connection that comes from learning alongside the same group of families week after week. This isn't a drop-off class. This is something you do together, and that makes all the difference.

Session Length: 60 Minutes
Age Group: 2–8 Years Old
Series Length: 4 Weeks
Group Size: 6–12 Children
Location: Libraries, churches & community spaces across Metro Atlanta
Format: Families register and attend together as a group

Each Session Includes:

  • Shared family learning experience, caregivers and children explore and play together throughout every session

  • Facilitated career-themed dramatic play experience

  • Themed costume and props (take-home activity included for every child)

  • Career-themed storybook read-aloud for the whole family

  • Hands-on activity aligned to Early Learning Developmental Standards

  • Parent tip sheet for extending the learning and the conversation at home

  • A small group environment where children and caregivers build real community

What your family builds over the series:

Creativity & Imagination Each career theme opens a brand new world for children and caregivers to explore, imagine, and make their own together.

Language & Literacy Themed vocabulary, storybooks, and rich family conversation build communication skills in the most natural way possible, through play.

Social-Emotional Development Small group learning teaches children how to take turns, collaborate, and express themselves while caregivers connect with other families in their community.

Problem-Solving Career-themed activities challenge children and their grown-ups to think, experiment, and try new approaches side by side.

Confidence When a child sees themselves as a chef, an engineer, or an astronaut — and their caregiver is right there playing alongside them they start to believe anything is possible.

Family Connection Play & Learn is designed for families to experience together creating shared memories, inside jokes, and conversations about careers that continue at the dinner table long after the session ends.

School Readiness Every activity is aligned to Early Learning Developmental Standards, supporting growth in literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and problem-solving — the same areas assessed in PreK and Kindergarten readiness evaluations.

Single Session: $35 per child

Experience one session before committing to the full series. A great way for your family to try Blooprint and see firsthand how much your child lights up.

Full Series: Best Value $120 per child

All four sessions for the price of three and a half. Families who commit to the full series give their children and themselves the full benefit of building, growing, and connecting week after week with the same community of families. Save $20 vs. paying per session

Booking & Registration Policy:

How Registration Works

Space in each series is limited to 12 children to keep the experience personal, high-quality, and truly community-oriented. To reserve your family's spot, full payment is due at the time of registration.

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the first session are eligible for a full credit toward a future series. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the series start date.

Sessions run throughout the year in rotating locations across Metro Atlanta. Join our mailing list to be the first to know when a new series opens in your area.

FAQ Section:

Do parents participate in sessions? Yes, and that's intentional. The Play & Learn Series is designed for families to experience together. Caregivers are active participants in every session, playing alongside their children, joining the read-aloud, and taking part in the hands-on activities. This shared experience is part of what makes Blooprint different. You're not dropping your child off; you're showing up together.

How is this different from the subscription box? The subscription box is a monthly delivery of career-themed play materials you use at home on your own schedule. The Play & Learn Series is a live, in-person group experience facilitated by a Blooprint educator; think of it as the community version of the box. Many families do both, and the two complement each other beautifully.

Can I buy the subscription box and join the series? Absolutely! We love it when families do both! The box lets children explore a career at home all month long, and the series lets the whole family experience it live with a group of other families. Together, they create a rich, consistent learning environment for your child.

What if we miss a session? We understand life happens. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer makeups or credits for missed individual sessions within a series, but we encourage every family to attend all four sessions to get the full experience and the full benefit of the community you'll build.

Where exactly are sessions held? Session locations vary by series. When you register, you will receive the full address, parking information, and any venue-specific details. We partner with libraries, churches, and community spaces throughout Metro Atlanta to make sessions as accessible as possible for families across the area.

Is this program aligned with the school curriculum? Yes. Every activity in the Play & Learn Series is designed to align with Early Learning Developmental Standards, supporting growth in literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and problem-solving, the same areas assessed in PreK and Kindergarten readiness evaluations.

What should we wear or bring? Come comfortable and ready to play! We provide all materials, costumes, and props. Just bring your child, your enthusiasm, and maybe a water bottle.
