Play Should Be Available to Every Child

Play it Forward is the nonprofit arm of Blooprint Imaginative Play™, dedicated to bringing career-themed play experiences to children who need them most, at no cost to families, schools, or communities.

Mission Statement:

"Every child, regardless of zip code, family income, or life circumstance, deserves the chance to dream big. Play it Forward exists to make sure that happens." — Lauren A. Watts, Founder

About Us:

Blooprint Imaginative Play™ was born from a deeply personal belief: that imagination is one of the most powerful tools a child can have, and that every child deserves access to it. But we know that for many families across Metro Atlanta, quality early learning experiences are out of reach, not because of a lack of desire, but because of barriers that have nothing to do with how much a child is capable of dreaming. Play it Forward was created to close that gap.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Play it Forward funds free and reduced-cost Blooprint programming for Title I schools, children in foster care and transitional housing, Head Start centers, and families who cannot afford private events or subscription boxes. Every dollar donated goes directly toward putting a costume on a child, a storybook in their hands, and a career dream in their heart. Because the children who need this most are often the ones who have access to it least, and that is exactly what Play it Forward is here to change.

What your donations fund:

Free Workshops for Title I Schools. We bring our full career-themed classroom experience to Title I schools at no cost to the school or its families. Every child in the room gets the same quality experience as any privately booked school program.

Subscription Box Scholarships We sponsor monthly subscription boxes for children in need, bringing career-themed costumes, storybooks, and learning materials directly to families who couldn't otherwise access them.

Free Community Pop-Up Events We host free pop-up play experiences in underserved neighborhoods across Metro Atlanta — open to all children, no registration fee, no cost to attend.

Programming for Children in Foster Care & Transitional Housing We partner with organizations serving children in foster care and transitional housing to deliver Blooprint experiences where children need joy, stability, and a sense of possibility the most.

Head Start & Early Learning Center Programming We fund free sessions at Head Start centers and early learning programs serving low-income families, ensuring that the youngest and most vulnerable learners have access to high-quality enrichment.
